Lifestyle

As I sit to write this section – I’m actually “stymied.”  We are so habituated to the struggle to keep up with the demands the matrix has imposed on humanity for millennia, that we all need to take a step back to reconsider the possibilities.

What will a “Utopian” lifestyle actually look like?

We’re told sudden freedom from want, of the material variety, leads to deep soul-searching as if trying to kick an addiction. The moment we realize there’s nothing to do, nowhere to go, we’re hard-pressed to find that missing piece – that sacred place where we abandoned our inner child.

And folks, been there done that!

At first it’s scary – goodness! Freedom from want? That means we have to examine our fears as they still haunt our ability to choose – fun?

Ease?

The concept of freedom actually engenders fear in most people when faced with the responsibility to create their own happiness. Unable to manage this sudden freedom, most folks adopt a lottery mentality and overlook the real essence of freedom: peace! To be able to create from that sacred place, only the child knows!

To pursue art, music, crafts, the great outdoors.

Don’t be fooled – there will be a period of inner chaos for each of us – where we have to re-learn risking – innocence – how to interact from new places in consciousness long-denied.

And that my friends is what community is really supposed to be about!

Creating safety for one another to experiment with a strange state of being: “FREEDOM”.

Does this move you to explore possibilities to contribute? Are you skilled in the ability to open a heart to forgiveness, to re-discover innocence?
