Cannon Law structures such as Corporations Sole have been in existence for over 2,000 years. They are legal entities created in early Roman Empire days. They are globally recognized and have unique administrative processes best suited for intentional and religious communities. By “religious” we in no manner represent denominational entities, we simply assert our divine right to spiritual freedom of expression and assembly.
Beginning with the founder of a foundation or trust, the most senior officer is called “The Overseer” having the administrative and spiritual credentials to manage the affairs of an assembly of people intent on living in community within a given set of moral and spiritual values.
Having distinct definitions of responsibilities, offices are very similar to most administrative bodies. Only the nomenclature is sometimes different from public offices.
Such as:
1. Overseer – the manager
2. Chief Scribe (secretary of the entire administrative body)
Administration is managed through a series of trusts, each intended to protect the assets of the Corporation Sole.
Each trust can have as many as 5 trustees appointed by the Overseer.
The Primary Trustee is the Overseer of Mandala Village Foundation and four Secondary Trustees are Appointed or Removed by the Primary Trustee. Secondary Trustees serve at the will and pleasure of the Primary Trustee. The domicile of the Trust is the same as that of Mandala Village Foundation. All decisions by the Board of Trustees are final unless over-ruled by the Overseer of Mandala Village Foundation. Meetings of the Board of Trustees are held under conditions, times, and locations as determined by the Primary Trustee. Board of Trustee meetings can be held in person, by telephone, by fax, by email, by internet chat room, by regular, certified, or registered mail, or by circular letter, or by any combination of the foregoing.
The procedures, distributions, and remedies for all aspects are mandated under COURT ORDER by a formally recognized Canon Law Court. All administrative functions must conform with the principles and rules of law found in A Course in Miracles and the Keys of Enoch, which are incorporated herein by reference.
These trustees are carefully selected to fulfill various duties in areas such as financial, administrative, legal, and so on.
Criteria for selection is strict and begins with evaluations of consciousness, (ie: OLC – Hawkins Scale of Consciousness), skill set, history of accomplishments and so on.
